I have learned with my hair that most damage starts with dry hair. If I go to wash and style dry hair more shedding is nearly a guarantee. My hair just can't be manipulated when it's dry because that is when it is week and tends to break.
So recently I've had some busy weeks which led to dry hair on wash day. So I used Aubrey Organics as a deep treatment before I wet my hair and did the rest of my routine (protein treatment, leave-ins and twisting) and my hair thanked me for it. It detangled easily and felt pretty strong before I even used my Aphogee 2 min Reconstructor.
My goal is to retain my growing length and this goes a long way!
